A used McDonald's bag has hit $280 on Trade Me - but for a very special reason.

最近，在Trademe上出现了一个售价高达280纽币的麦当劳食品袋，而一个普通的纸袋之所以达到这么高的价格则是因为一个非常特殊的原因。

This is no ordinary used McDonald's bag. Instead, it's a "piece of major worldwide history", an heirloom passed down through the decades and "very collectable".

这并不是一个普通的用过的袋子。相反，它代表了“一段历史”，是一件流传了几十年的传家宝，“非常具有收藏价值”。

The seller says the bag comes from 1955 - the same year McDonald's was founded - and from the original store in San Bernadino, California opened by the McDonald's brothers.

"This is the original paper bag that contained McDonald's original burger and fries. In 1955 a meal was purchased, and the bag was stored away and rediscovered today," the seller says.

“这个袋子曾经装过麦当劳最原始的汉堡和薯条。1955年，有人在麦当劳购买了食品。而这个袋子则一直被保留至今，并且在最近才被发现。”

"Been passed down from generations in the family, and thought someone else would appreciate it more than me."

The bag has the original packaging design and logo developed by McDonald's, although the seller admits the original burger smell has faded quite a lot.

It's already drawn a lot of attention, with more than 580 watchers and the current bid sitting at $280 as of Sunday afternoon.

"Wow even their bags don't perish," another person said.

还有一名网友表示，“除了汉堡，越来麦当劳的包装袋也不会变质”。
