自2005年以来，国会议员必须申报其财务状况，包含房产、海外花销和股份等其他信息。

据Newshub报道，4月份的最新数据显示，国家党议员中，拥有至少4套房的人有17名，而工党只有2名。

许多议员们拥有多套出租物业。

截至1月31日的数据显示，总理Jacinda Ardern在奥克兰Mt Albert拥有一套自住房。

国家党党魁Judith Collins在奥克兰有一套自住房，在惠灵顿有一套商住两用房，在尼尔森也有一处住宅房。

目前，有8名议员名下没有房产。
