虎毒都不食子，这条新闻里的母亲来自英国，居然能亲手将自己刚刚生出的宝宝，用剪刀刺死！而原因，居然是害怕孩子会影响自己的职业发展。

A mother stabbed her newborn daughter to death with a pair of kitchen scissors because she feared having a child would harm her career, a court heard.

一位母亲用厨房剪刀刺杀了自己刚刚出生的婴儿。她在法庭上说，因为害怕这个新生儿会影响到自己的职业发展。

Rachel Tunstill, 26, dumped her newborn baby's lifeless body in a bin after allegedly butchering her with scissors 15 times at the flat she shared with boyfriend Ryan Kelly.

Rachel Tunstill,今年26岁，她在和男友Ryan Kelly同住的公寓内，一共向自己生出的宝宝刺了15次，最后把婴儿尸体扔进了垃圾桶。

Preston Crown Court heard the couple's daughter Mia Kelly had been born after Tunstill had gone into labour on their toilet while Ryan was "engrossed" playing a horror video game on his XBox.

从Preston皇家法院庭审上透露的信息称，这对夫妇的女儿Mia Kelly是在Tunstill去上厕所时生出来的，当时孩子的父亲Ryan还在专心致志的玩Xbox上的恐怖游戏。

But she told her partner that she was "having another miscarriage" and got him to hand her a pair of scissors.

Once baby Mia was dead, Tunstill wrapped her body in two plastic bags, walked past Kelly playing on his games console, and placed the body in the bin.

当婴儿死后，Tunstill用两个塑料袋把她包起来，在玩游戏的Kelly面前走过，然后把尸体扔进了垃圾箱。

Tunstill, who holds a degree in psychology and a masters in forensic psychology, told Kelly, 31, she didn't need medical attention during the three-hour birth.

The court was also told that Tunstill had suffered a miscarriage in March last year.The prosecution alleged that the miscarriage was a result of Tunstill wanting to climb the career ladder: being pregnant would scupper her ambitious plans.

在法庭上被告知，去年三月，Tunstill也出现过一次流产。原告指出，因为Tunstill想在职业道路上继续往上爬，怀孕会让她的雄心壮志计划泡汤。

Tunstill, who denies murder, was questioned when Kelly was arrested for murder.
